Gerardo is a Georgia native who moved from Nicaragua at an early age and has always had a passion for how things work. With a strong interest in the built environment, he is currently focused on expanding his knowledge in MEP engineering. His long-term goal is to gain proficiency in all three disciplines—mechanical, electrical, and plumbing—to improve cross-disciplinary coordination and better manage complex projects from start to finish.
Outside of work, Gerardo values time with his family, especially in his role as a proud uncle to two wonderful nieces and nephews. He enjoys the balance of technical growth and personal connection, bringing that same energy to his team and projects. His commitment to continuous learning and collaboration makes him a valuable asset to the Proficient Engineering team.
